Femtosecond imaging with X-ray free electron laser

One very interesting outcome at LCLS (Linac Coherent Light Source), Stanford, USA has recently been published. The experiment was single-shot imaging of ferromagnetic, nanoscale spin order taken with femtosecond X-ray free electron laser pulses.
